Acne is a mysterious skin disorder, but one thing is for sure - it can be controlled with the right combination of treatments and products. Just as in a clogged drain, the pore must be treated with products that unclog it and kill the acne bacteria.
We have a clear-skin system that will have your acne under control in about three to four months, depending on your type of acne. This system has a 90% success rate for individuals who follow the treatment plan. We combine the power of clinical-grade products that are customized for your type of acne, with a series of bi-monthly treatments. We also teach you about other aggravating factors that make you break out - foods, medications, cosmetics, stress, and common ingredients in skin care formulations that might be clogging your pores (even professional and prescription products).
As you go through your process of achieving clear skin on your face and/or body, you will want to come in for treatments every two weeks.
Treatments are for:
- exfoliating the skin so that home care products can penetrate pore more easily
- hydrating the skin so that the skin is receptive to your home-care regimen
- extracting existing acne impactions
- killing acne bacteria inside the pore
Each acne treatment is specifically focused on what the skin needs at the time of treatment. Sometimes the skin will need more hydration, other times it will need more anti-bacterial and/or anti-inflammatory action.
The most important aspect of our system is not just starting you with the right products, but we teach you how to use them. We test your skin to make sure you are getting the most effective products for your acne type, skin type, and skin tolerance. It won't be enough just to have the right products - it's all about having the right routine for those products. You will learn how to use products slowly at first, so that your skin stays receptive without causing irritation or dehydration. But skin can become accustomed to products and then become less effective over time - that is why we will adjust your regimen little by little, to get rid of your acne.
We know that you are used to getting a prescription or products from the store, and then left trying to figure it out all on your own. Your Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist will help you tackle your acne head on, providing strong products with a specific regimen and a balanced approach that is not overly harsh. In-office treatments speed the process, but with our support, our clients find their acne clears up within a few months.
We will analyze your skin at the beginning of every appointment to assess which treatment would serve you best. Treatments are performed every two weeks until your skin clears.

By the time our clients come to see us, most of them have tried myriads of products. The acne products range from prescription products like retinoids, antibiotics, and Accutane as well as over-the-counter acne remedies.
Why do many acne products fail so miserably in getting it done?
- Many contain pore-clogging ingredients. For example, the cream form of Retin-A contains pore-cloggers and should never be given to an acne patient but it happens every day.
- It takes a combination of the right products to affect acne. Just a retinoid by itself or a serum with salicylic in it is not enough.
- Different ingredients in acne products are used for different kinds of acne.
- Even companies that are attempting to customize regimens to account for different types of acne do not have strong enough products to get the job done.
- And almost all companies do not take skin adaptation to products (skin getting used to products) into account. If you are not coached in how to adjust the frequency of product use, you will not get rid of your acne.

INITIAL CONSULTATION - $50 1 hour BOOK
During the initial consultation (about 1 hour), we will go over your acne history and classify your acne type, your skin type and its tolerance in order to customize your treatment plan. We will take “before” photos, go over diet and lifestyle guidelines, recommended supplements, and much much more. You will be given lots of information to have at home with you.
If you decide to go on our acne-clearing program, you will be instructed on how to use your products for the first two weeks. You will also be purchasing your Initial Homecare Regimen and going home with a clear game plan to get started! Each acne client requires a different combination of products to start, but commonly the total of all the initial homecare products comes to $175 or less.
We do not offer Face Reality treatments to clients that do not use our home care products.
INITIAL CONSULTATION AND FIRST ACNE TREATMENT - $125 2 hours BOOK
In addition to the initial consultation you will get Personalized Acne Exfoliating Treatment with Extractions, High Frequency and LED. If you decide to go on our acne-clearing program, you will be instructed on how to use your products for the first two weeks.
ACNE TREATMENT - $95 60-75 minutes BOOK
Personalized Acne Exfoliating Treatment with Extractions, High Frequency and Celluma LED. We will want to see you every two weeks for an acne treatment. It typically takes about six to eight services over a 3 to 4-month period of time to get you mostly to completely clear. We will take your pictures to monitor a process. We will assess what type of treatment your skin needs when you come in. We will also assess how your home care regimen will be adjusted so that your skin does not over-adapt and stop responding. At this point you may begin using your current products differently, or you will be buying your second round of products. The second homecare product purchase usually costs between $25 and $75, depending on what you need. As you get clear, your treatments will become shorter – there just won’t be as many extractions to do. After your acne is under control, you will simply need to maintain your home care products to keep clear.
BACK TREATMENT - $110 1 hour BOOK
Acne on the back is assessed the same way as on the face. Skin is tested for sensitivity and tolerance to products. Often, skin on back needs stronger products due to skin thickness. In your Back Acne Treatment, we assess & treat your back acne and provide recommendations for at home regimen to achieve clear skin.
12 WEEKS ACNE BOOTCAMP - $777 BOOK
This 12 weeks acne bootcamp includes 6 treatments (twice a month) and home skin care starter kit (8 full size products).
The Acne Bootcamp is a clear-skin system that will have your acne under control in about three to four months, depending on your type of acne. Many people see a noticeable difference in their acne within the first two months. Combining the power of clinical-grade products that are customized for your type of acne with a series of bi-monthly treatments.
